What Will The Report Describe To You?
A home inspection will reveal to the client the current health of the property under inspection. The report pinpoints how safe the dwelling is for the habitats and structural soundness. The report examines the mechanical components and basic interlocking systems of plumbing, electrical, foundation, heating, framing style and grading of the property.
The report also acts as a guide to the property owner to what items require immediate attention to make the property safe for its occupants. However, the written report can be used to explain minor structural issues or upgrades on materials that will enhance the property's overall appearance.
How long does it take to receive my report?
Normally my reports take 3 to 5 days to complete. It is written in narrative format.
How is the report written?
It is written in Microsoft Word and presented in thin, hard copy folder or email should the customer desire it.
Should I read the home inspection report besides my Realtor reading it?
Yes, you should read it. Even if the material may sound dry to you. The reports depicts the health of the property, you wish to purchase or sell to another.
Does the report focus on positive and negative effects of the property?
Yes, it will highlight school districts, transportation,roadways,landscape,military bases,high voltage plants,waterways, local services and general weather conditions.
Do you take digital photos along with the written report?
On some home inspections. Digital photos unusually are for case studies in my home inspectors chapter.
